A Happy Mother's Day

We were up and off to church by 10 and to choir practice at 10 after. The worship was very good with a great message from our Lord. Afterward we went to lunch at a Mexican Restaurant with some other members of the church. The meal was good as was the fellowship. We shopped for some items for making bread and came home. We planted our tomato plants and other flowers we had bought yesterday. It was quite cool and windy albeit sunny. I watched some of the Cubs and the Players tournament before suggesting we go walk the lake around 5. We dressed for the cool weather but got too hot while walking. Evelyn got calls from her precious daughters on this special day. She always enjoys talking with them each week. We watched a movie, “27 Dresses” and enjoyed it quite a bit. We went to bed after the news. I want to record how blessed I have been to have both a wonderful,talented wife and a skilled and loving woman to be the mother of our children. She still does a great job of being mother--not too much, not too little. Thank You, Jesus.
