Reclaiming the cross
We got up and walked earlier than usual. We were back home by 9. We ate breakfast after I watered the plants and then dressed for the hospital. We left home early and went to Belk. I wanted to see if I could find my cross that I had left hanging on a hook while I was trying on shirts. The girl found it in a store room. Evelyn had found a bargain on a bracelet and necklace. We bought it and went right to the hospital for lunch and volunteering. It was a slow day. The colonoscopy department had no doctors so there were few patients on the floor. I worked on the computer and Evelyn taped some notebooks. We left around 3 and came home to rest. I had planned to take Evelyn to town for a piece of cake at Pheasant Hill. I had accidently eaten her piece of German chocolate cake yesterday (don’t ask) and wanted to make amends. She had changed clothes and didn’t want to dress up to go to town, so we stayed home. She did walk around the circle with Doris and Diane. I tried to work on the computer some more but the connection was messed up. I watched “Fifty First Dates”.
