Clean floors
The carpet cleaners came and did the usual great job. Evelyn had dragged me out of bed to move everything out of the Texas room before they arrived. We moved the computer upstairs so we could receive the SKYPE call from Emily. The cleaners left and we sat at the table working, waiting for the call. After an hour we gave up. I called her cell phone without success. We ate lunch and I went to the hall for the mail. We wore our house slippers because the carpet needed time to dry. Evelyn remembers that it took 3 days last year. The cleaner took special care to dry it more thoroughly. After lunch we took a nap. We had planned to go dancing at the honky tonk this afternoon with John and Sue, but they wouldn’t go. I called Emily on the MagicJack and learned her computer had developed a problem, preventing her from SKYPEing us. We did get to talk with her for about an hour. We just stayed home until time to go to worship. We came home after choir practice. Dixie told us via email that Justin is in Afghanistan again. We pray that he returns home safely.
