Double preaching day.

We got up earlier than last week so we arrived more on time. We had more time to set things up and visit with some of the congregation. More of our good friends have arrived and were in attendance. Our neighbors, Rose and Armand who never go to church, came to worship with us. They communed with us but I am not sure they understood that they were partaking of the Lord’s true Body and Blood. The message was about Jesus’ returning as Lord. We went to Llano Grande where I gave the same message. Afterward we went to visit a friend, Paul Zopfi, who had a knee replacement. He and Donna are well. We came home for lunch, and I watched some football before we took a nap. We were wakened by the Hamels who came to work on our speaker wires. They brought Dick Hiebert with them and he fixed our wiring. He also took our outside Christmas star and fiber optic tree base. We watched some TV, including the 3rd episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska and talked with Stacy on the phone. She certainly does her best to serve the Lord by helping with the children who are pretty helpless. She stays with the children to give the parents a respite. She is appreciated by most but has some bad experiences with a few. We enjoyed the evening at home.
