Italian dinner
Today was gorgeous. We went to Jack-in-the-Box for breakfast. Those breakfast sandwiches are really good. We left there and went to the square dance. We danced virtually every one despite being late. I began going to them because Evelyn wanted to but now really enjoy them. We were finished by noon and I was off to play golf by 12:30. Armand and I met a couple from Winnipeg and played with them. They were very nice and we played a bit better than recently. It was still a beautiful day with hardly any wind. It was in the low 70s and sunny. We came home because he had company coming, and we were going to dinner with Ed and Nona Drews. We rested and then picked them up, heading for Carino’s in McAllen. We had 2 coupons for free appetizers with the purchase of an entrée. We tried Italian nachos and were surprised that they were very good. The “chips” were made of pasta and covered with cheese, chicken, and sausage. We had a very good time with them although she can’t hear, and he doesn’t talk much. They appear slow but they aren’t. Evelyn worked on her Bible study for tomorrow night.
