Eating is great fun

Evelyn exercised today, but I didn't. I had some online banking to do and thought we had lunch plans at 11:30. It turns out that it was for 12:30. I watched one of the programs I had recorded last night and off we went. We went to be with some friends from Winnipeg: Heinz and Alice Bauknecht. She served delicious lasagna and salad. She also had banana creme pie and some date cakes. I have decided to limit myself to dessert on only two days per week. I saved up for today because I was sure Alice would have delicious desserts. We then played her favorite game: hand and foot. It is a form of canasta. We stayed until 5:00 and came home to ride our bikes around both parks. We planted a tall poinsettia from Heinz. He gave us two last spring and both died during the Christmas freeze. We think we can grow more the same way. We have been trying to contact Tom and Diesta Crouch to invite them for lunch or dinner Saturday. They didn't return the call I made to them. I will try to contact him early tomorrow because we are to meet the Harlingen renters for lunch tomorrow. I watched CSI and Without a Trace while my lovely wife worked on her shoes and our ironing.
