A safe trip home

We arose at 7 and walked before preparing to leave. We showered and took the keys to the unit to Denise. We left and drove to Berne, stopping to show Mom the pictures of Peter at the Zoo in Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska. We went on from there for our 9 hour trip back. We stopped many times for potty breaks and meals. Unfortunately we drove through Middlesboro and neglected to stop for the Hazelnut/Poppyseed bread that we love but is sold only at Kroger. There are no Kroger stores close to us here. We arrived home around 10 (we lost an hour crossing the time line), unpacked and went to bed. We had a safe, trouble free trip home, and thank God for His mercy. I brought the mail in and found my assignment for the worship I will lead in Franklin on the 25th. We also have to prepare for the Bible study we will lead here at Our Savior. We will have to work out some replacement for that day.
