Shorter travel

Dale and Denise who are in communication with HWH. I asked for help in moving the curio and two workers came. I had hoped for one but didn’t have to move any of it. Dave, the technician working on our unit, came just before we left and took some numbers from the pump because HWH was on the telephone. We left the Jeep in the parking lot (hopefully Darrell will come to change the spark plugs) and then went to dump and fill with water. Off we went to Peru around 9:30. We stopped at the Kroger store and bought supplies. We also called Stehlics, Pastor Edge’s in laws we had met in Mercedes, to go to lunch with them. They took us to a nice local restaurant, Harvey Hinklemeyers. We wanted to persuade them into going to the Via de Cristo weekend next weekend. They wanted to talk to us about renting our mobile next May, June, and July when their granddaughter, Lydia, would be married. I think they won and we lost in the agenda department. We went on to Purdue and set up, saving a place for Bill and Shirley. While Evelyn was inside, I saw them walking across the field where we park. They had come more than an hour after us and had not seen us. They moved beside us, and walked to the Dairy Queen where we met them after we had some soup for dinner. We returned to our unit and played euchre until 9 when we retired for the evening. Bill and I drank a whole bottle of wine, making us a bit tired. I was able to read a chapter in the Monkey book before conking out.
