relaxing

We had a great worship service today, but things didn’t start right. The alarm went off but the radio was playing programs that were an hour later last week. I don’t know what happened, but it gave me quite a start. We had a good Bible study too. Evelyn invited two couples for dinner, but they couldn’t come. We came home and waited until noon to eat. We called some friends in the park but they too were busy. We ate alone and then watched the Colts winning streak come to an end. They were beaten by Drew Purdue Brees and the Chargers. We went for a walk and I went to the Derrs to see if we could ride with them to Mexico Thursday when we want to deliver the gifts from the Ladies Leisure to the women of the houses in the colonia. We will see what they find out. We laid around in the evening and Evelyn talked with Stacy. They have such a great time talking together. Stacy is crazy and keeps her in stitches with her clever repartee. We are experiencing cold weather for the Valley. Even so I don’t mind. We finally made contact with the woman who wants to look at the Jeep. We made an appointment for Tuesday morning at 10.
