Fun on SPI

Evelyn went to exercise while I prepared the car and took my bicycle to the trailer that will take us to South Padre Island. We left around 9:30 and we rode with another couple that had their bicycles on the back of their car. We arrived at the restaurant where we were to lunch and rode to the end of the island to the south. There is a large statue of Jesus in memory of men lost at sea. We returned to Blackbeard’s and shared a grilled mahi mahi lunch. We wanted to have an ice cream for dessert but the service was so slow (the fault of too many people in our group) that we had to leave in order to get home and finish preparations for tonight’s heart healthy meal. The guests arrived and we enjoyed the chicken we had skinned last night and a game of hand and foot. We got to bed a bit earlier than usual.
