Monday

Today, I prepared for tomorrow. I have to teach to AARP Safe Driving class tomorrow, and, since it has been a year since I have done it, I need to practice. I did walk in the morning and Evelyn exercised. We got ready and went to Wal-Mart to see about getting Evelyn some new glasses and some herbs. She talked with the optical department and was shocked to learn that they did not accept Pacificare. We learned that the pharmacy does accept that company. We then went to Home Depot to find some ideas for our back yard resort area that the summer renter will build. The strange thing is that she can tell me exactly what she wants, but can’t draw her own “schematic” to give him. She has a talent of making a simple task complicated. We came home for lunch even though I offered to take us out to the new Chinese restaurant in town. We rested in the afternoon and then Evelyn made mefallato sandwiches for our guests for dinner. We had the nurse who takes blood pressure here in the park and her husband. He is the one entered the egg toss contest last year. We finished second and I would like to win this year. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to ask him. They left and then I practiced some more and checked my materials and watched Leno’s headlines feature. It wasn’t very good this time.
