More Folkmoot

Dancers from Mexico and Canada
We went to Junaluska to worship since we had no one to meet at OSLC. There was a pastor from Brazil who spoke Portuguese. There was an interpreter. The music was sung in both English and Spanish. Evelyn then walked while I did computer work. We came home, had lunch and rested. I was, for some reason, wiped out again and slept hard for over an hour. We dressed and went to OSLC for the installation service for our new pastor. The choir sang and sounded very well. We came home for our block party at the neighbor’s house next door. She grilled hamburgers and the carry in items were delicious. After that we went back to Stuart auditorium for our free viewing of the Folkmoot performances. Our next viewing will be at Haywood Community College when we usher. We didn’t get to see all of the groups, but saw most of them. I don’t think they are as good as last year’s. The dance from Columbia bordered on obscenity. Our neighbor who owns an apple orchard near here asked me if I want to work at their huge fruit stand. I will have to discuss terms before I make a commitment. I like working at Taco Bell and it is much closer for Evelyn to take me to work so she can have the car.
