getting closer

We went for walks this morning: Evelyn on the treadmill and I around the park. I went to the coffee table but all the sages had already left. We came home and I left for the recycle station and see John Hamel, the man who plays piano for our worship service. He will play again this year. I then took my prescription to the pharmacy. I came home and showered after lunch and rode my bicycle to the imaging center for my bone density evaluation, took my blood work results from NC to the doctor, and picked up my prescription. Evelyn came to meet me at the doctor’s and rode home with me. We continued trying to get things organized and even cut some of the enormous weeds in our garden. We went to ride around the park with the bike club and then went to choir practice at Immanuel. We will sing at the Advent services but not at many Sunday services. This Sunday will be the only one. I watched a special on John Ford, the movie director. I also ordered a GPS device for the car. A friend has one and loves it. I stayed up too late because I didn’t look at the clock.
