decision day
Thursday was another very hot day. I kept coming in to cool off between jobs. Evelyn walked early and then left me the car while she went to the LWML secret pal lunch. I brought a grande quesadilla home and ate only half while I watched “The Bronx is Burning” that I had taped two nights ago. I made a mock flyer and took it to Rogers’ because we will meet with them this evening to talk over some ideas we had for our trip to Savannah. Evelyn didn’t get home until after 4. She had been shanghaied by the woman she had ridden with. They were overcharged for the lunch, she was taken to Waynesville so the driver could shop and then taken to the thrift shop. She was furious, protesting she would not attend another of those meetings. We went to talk with Jim and Kathy, and they said we should plan everything. We will choose a package deal that covers three days. We came home and ate dinner before relaxing for the evening. We had wakened at 5AM and slept poorly after that. Evelyn worked on a fleece throw for me and we went to bed early.
