Shut my mouth

Monday was the first park meeting. We try to attend these each week to learn some of the events happening in the park. We plan to take a bike ride Thursday around the Santa Anna nature area. We also made plans to drive to the first of the concert series with George and Peggy Van Well on Thursday evening. We are still without a table for Thanksgiving dinner because someone erased our name from the table sign up sheet. The meetings end with a drawing for some small prizes. This gets people to come and stay until the end. We didn’t win this time but have in the past. We left for Mexico to get my hair cut and pedicures for both of us. On a chance we went to our dentist to make an appointment to have our teeth cleaned and were surprised that we could have them cleaned immediately. We also scheduled work for the week after Thanksgiving: Evelyn will have three teeth crowned and I will have a filling replaced. All of this took us to 1:30 so I decided to eat lunch at one of the restaurants. We shared a lunch and then drove home to rest. After that we went shopping because we still needed some staples. After we got them we went to Dairy Queen for a pumpkin flavored blizzard. Evelyn needs at least one of those each year. We came home and I priced a few items for the flea market sale tomorrow morning. I also made some announcement papers to post in Trail’s End RV park where lead worship. We will begin services on December 2 to coincide with the Advent season. I called a friend and learned that the worker who left his tools here last spring is back in the area. Perhaps he will pick them up sometime this week.
