relaxing

We wakened and prepared for church. We were a bit early so I read some of the paper we get on the weekends. Then off to church. We thought the choir would sing but we didn’t. We won’t next week either because almost everyone will be gone. We were blessed by the worship and then came home. I had put some charcoal into the starter chimney and lighted it. We had thawed some steaks last week and needed to cook and eat them. Evelyn made some sweet potatoes mixed with peaches that were delicious. She also baked some Grands and cooked some spinach. We wasted the afternoon watching the Cubs game. It will be the last until Friday because of the All Star game. I also fixed some of the pictures from the Grandson trip and e-mailed them to the girls. We fixed up a package to send to Noah containing the items he left in the motor home. Evelyn is still not feeling just right but wanted to walk to see if it would help her back. It began to rain, however, just as we got to the lake. We went to Wal-Mart and walked around inside for a while and then came home. We watched “Meet Me in St. Louis” and really enjoyed it. We have another busy week ahead and another following that.
