Things are healing

Evelyn slept very well last night. We got up and had breakfast, and she went back for a nap. I went out with the brush and brushed the wet car. We ate lunch and then showered. I went out and cut some of the lower branches from the river birch trees and carried them to the vacant lot. We then drove to Maggie Valley Country Club to see if I could get the $100 certificate I won replaced. They will look it up and e-mail me with the answer. It rained a little in Maggie as we drove. We came back to Waynesville to see if I could get my shoes, but the store closed at 4. Evelyn wanted to lie down again before going to usher at the HART theater. We did usher and stayed for half of the play before coming home to watch the amazing Cubs play the Phillies. They won on a grand slam home run after being behind 4-1. Evelyn has made great improvement. Praise the Lord.
