Bible study and doctor visits.
I was up and out watering our plants and the neighbor’s. I gave the mums we planted yesterday a good drink. Evelyn was making final preparations for her Bible study. We ate breakfast and fixed the boom box so that it would play the song Rosalind had recorded yesterday. I dressed and walked the loop a couple of times. I also answered and sent e-mails. I was in the kitchen washing the dishes when I noticed how dirty the right side of the sink was. I scrubbed it, removing the stopper and cleaning it with a toothbrush. It has probably never been so clean. At noon I began heating some chili for our lunch. At 1 I began eating. Evelyn finally arrived after 1. I never understood why she was so late but she wouldn’t eat anything. The big disappointment was that the cassette wouldn't play. I saw that she had changed the mode to CD instead of tape. She was very disappointed. We left shortly after that to see Dr. Lafata. He changed her medications slightly and sent her off for another blood test. The results from yesterday’s tests were not in his office. I had my annual “Christmas goose” and found that my PSA had risen a bit since last year. He also renewed a prescription for me. We left and came home for a nap. Then I went to sweep out the trailer in preparation for loading next week. I learned that we had put the Maxxaire on backwards but think is will work better this way in allowing ventilation throughout. We ate supper and then fell into the normal routine for the evening. Evelyn did write a note to the CA family and watched a movie.
