The German dinner

We were off to worship. Today was LWML Sunday so only women were active in the service, with the exception of the pastor. Evelyn was an usher. After church we helped more with the set up of the basement. I helped set up the large round tables outdoors. We came home and I ate 2 pieces of pizza for lunch. Evelyn slept and ate some Ramen noodle soup when she got up. I watched a little football and read some of the Sunday paper we get. Then it was off to Taco Bell for ice and on to church. I had not volunteered for any job but Evelyn had. We were early so I just talked with people and helped direct traffic. Evelyn began working too. When her shift began, she served bratwurst and sauer braten. I helped remove some trash and then helped with the tear down of the outside cafe. I ate a dinner with Dallas and Karen but Evelyn wouldn’t eat. We were home around 8:30, after I had stopped to get some eggs for brownies. Emily and Stacy had both called so Evelyn called Emily back and will call Stacy tomorrow. Evelyn strangely consumed her Ensure without a fight. She takes potassium 2 or 3 times a day and did that too. We were tired and went to bed early. I am to play golf tomorrow morning. Evelyn doesn’t want to go and will stay home.
