more tests
We were off to the hospital by 7:45. Evelyn had not slept until 3:30 but had to make the appointment. She had to drink some effervescent liquid before having the X-ray and ultrasound. It made her sick. We left there and went downtown to have her weighed at WW after stopping to get my results from the dermatologist. It was good: no cancer. The Weight Watchers was not open today so we went to get some scrap material for Olivia to sew with. We came home for a light breakfast and loaded our weekly medicine containers. We then went to our friend’s house for lunch of some crab and cheese and bacon on toast. It reminded us of a hot brown. Rosalind played a hymn for Evelyn and Herb recorded it for tomorrow’s Bible study. We stopped at the bank on the way home to cash a check and were home by 2. Evelyn was asleep by 2:15. When she wakened we planted the mums I had set out yesterday. We had hoped to learn the results of the tests this afternoon but received no call. We will try to get Dr. Lafata to get them tomorrow at our regular appointment. We shared some of the German dinner she hadn’t eaten Sunday and then went to our final choir practice for the season. We came home and Evelyn worked on the Bible study she will lead and wrote a note to the Krauses. She was asleep before the final Presidential debate was over. I watched the news and went to bed. I had recorded the dance lesson demonstration onto some flash drives, hoping the people in our class will be interested in buying them to help them practice the tango.
