dinner and dancing

We walked early this morning and then returned to visit with Mickey and Frances at their home. We had never been inside and were given a tour. What a lovely, large place they have. They even have an area at their ground level that could serve as an apartment: bed, living area, kitchen and even a washer and dryer. We asked them to usher with us at the theater tomorrow night, but they have plans. Frances served blackberry cobbler and coffee. We returned home and continued preparing for our dinner guests. We ate very light for lunch and continued cooking and setting the table for the evening. I was also able to watch the folded Cubs lose. Both women arrived near 5, and we had drinks and our meal of pork loin. They are both older women of German descent. One was born in Germany, the other is from Iowa. We had a good time, and 3 of us went to the street dance in downtown Waynesville. We danced one of the round dances, and I was so hot that I just couldn’t dance anymore even after cooling down. We went to the grocery after and found graham cracker crumbs that we have been seeking. We came home by 10. We decided to clean the kitchen tomorrow after going to 2 flea markets. We used the China dishes and have to wash them by hand.
