A somewhat relaxing day.

I had some gas problems last night, so I finished the night on the couch. I didn' sleep well but did sleep late. I was ready for the day by the time Evelyn returned in the rain. We ate some porridge, and I left to take some trash and try to find the owner of a jacket left at our most recent kitchen band performance. I found him, mailed a letter, gathered yesterday's mail and returned home in a light drizzle. We distributed our medicine into our daily portions before I made telephone calls. Evelyn prepared lunch, and then we left to shop a bit. She wants a jacket to wear with a dress she has for Easter. We couldn't find anything she liked. We also went to Walgreens for some asprins then to the bank to cash a check and then home. I talked Evelyn into going to bed for a nap while I worked on the service for Sunday. I also had a talk with Clayton, our investment advisor, about some tax questions and our viatical settlement problem. We didn't eat supper because we always eat mucho popcorn while working the dances. We had a dance tonight. The band we have most of the time is not liked by the residents of this park but he brings a nice following. There were 66 people there and he brought about 50 of them. We were finished cleaning up by 10:30 and I was able to finish the blog.
