Visiting the honkey tonk.

After exercise, Evelyn went to get a permanent. I walked and then, since Evelyn was gone, I rode my bike to a restgaurant for a breakfast taco. I was disappointed in Diana's restraurant. I had really liked it when it was in Mercedes. I came home and tried to work on the taxes again. I will have to get help. I then watched the DVD that we will use for the next 4 weeks. It took over an hour but will help to have a good overview. Evelyn returned just in time for us to leave for the noon Lenten service. It was a good message. We returned home for chili. Evelyn had had only a small breakfast bar to eat since last night. We then took a nap to get ready for our afternoon entertainment. I asked a single man who sings in our kitchen band to go with us to the Horseman Grill and Saloon. We tried a different way to get there and made some mistakes. It took us longer than when we took the long way. Next time will be different. We had a good time and saw some old friends from Country Sunshine. We had not seen them for several years. We had a good time dancing and stopped at the Diary Queen for supper. We returned home and talked with Emily for a while. They will be movint to their permanent home soon but have to clean it first. We watched Purdue play Minnesota. Robbie Hummel, one of their great players got hurt early in the first half. Somehow Purdue won 59-58. The weather is supposed to be temperate for the next few days, so our bike club will be able to ride out for lunch tomorrow for a change.
