A good time with the grandkids.

I was up earlier but made Evelyn return to bed because she had taken a sleeping pill and was too discombobulated to even walk. We went to 2 groceries to buy items for the weekend visitors. I also went to the license branch to see if I could get a temporary plate for the trailer in the fall. I was told no. We came home and dressed for the hospital where we ate lunch. We were not busy at all, so we left and were home by 2. Evelyn rested while I cleaned some things up. We then went to the lake to walk. Tom and Stacy came and we enjoyed some beer before they left for the evening. It is their 17th anniversary tomorrow, so we agreed to watch the children. They stayed at a bed a breakfast after going to Asheville for dinner. We took the kids to Taco Bell for dinner and then went to a play at Bethel Middle School. It was “The Music Man” and was good for a group of 8th graders. One girl had an especially good voice. Peter and Olivia seemed to enjoy it too. We went to the dance to talk with Dallas and Karen about our date to go to see the Tourists play next Monday. We will talk on the phone this weekend. We came home and enjoyed a brownie and ice cream. We went to bed early.
