I wakened at 5:40 and only dozed until 630 when I finally got up, made coffee, and caught up on my Bible reading. Evelyn arose at 8, dressed, made some toast and went with me to walk. We finished around 10 and went to see John about our being unable to proctor tests with him. We are committed to going to Myrtle Beach during that time. I did agree to proctor on June 3 because Evelyn has to be back to lead Bible study. We then picked up our gala tickets at the Folkmoot office and got some books at library. From there I paid our Belk bill and talked with them about the charge we had made to us while we weren’t here. I guess I ordered something on line. We were home by 11:30 and ate because we planned to eat some horsdoerves with Tom and Luann. We dressed for our dinner out this evening and waited. While waiting I put some brackets up to strengthen some shelves in the shed. I also fixed my golf cart so the bag will stay on. We waited until 3 for Tom and Luann to arrive. We just enjoy being with them probably more than any couple we know. We enjoyed wine, boudin, and cheese ball for a couple of hours. They were interested in our Mexican Rivera cruise and our ride on Amtrak. We talked until 6:30 and then went to Maggie’s Galley for fish. Tom is especially fond of that restaurant. We parted but planned to see them in Franklin before they leave for Alaska.
