School searching

It was cold and rainy when we got up. We slept late because we had been awake until around 2 last night. Evelyn finally took a sleeping pill, but I didn’t need one. I remembered why I didn’t sleep this morning: I had drunk caffeinated coffee last night with our strawberry pie. Evelyn worked on preparing some chicken we had bought on special last week. We went to check out a school that Peter might be able to attend if he would have to come to live with us. It would be a better school than his present one, but it is not exactly as structured as he might benefit from. We learned about a place in NC called Eckerd Camp that is a residential setting but were disappointed that it no longer functions. From there we went to Clyde to distribute more brochures. On the way home we stopped at Burger King and brought home food. After eating, we went to the lake for our daily walk. At home Evelyn continued working on the chicken. I had let her sleep later this morning so I took a nap. We received a call saying we had a place at the cancer survivor’s dinner, so we dressed and went to the dinner at 5:30. There was a good crowd, good food, and some small prizes for the survivors. We came home for Dancing with the Stars. We talked with Tom on the phone and tried to encourage both him and Stacy in dealing with Peter.
