Planning for guests

We are getting lazy. We weren’t up until about 9 again. We had a light breakfast and then went to get our flu shots. They offered the drive through feature again but we opted to go inside. The nurses are very good nowadays. We felt nothing. We went on to Belk to pick up Evelyn’s Estee Lauder perfume and free gift. It was another beautiful, crisp day. We made a short trip to Ingall’s grocery for some items Evelyn needs for a lunch she plans to hostess Friday. We returned home for lunch and then left for our daily walk. We were back home by 2. Evelyn cleaned the kitchen and then took a nap. We had thought we might be needed to help peel apples for the German dinner but Jo was busy taking a lady to have an X-ray. Evelyn did more cooking for her lunch. I cut 2 squash and opened 5 cans of things to use in the making of tortilla soup she was making. When she got it put into the roaster, she took a nap. We walked around the loop a couple of times before supper and Evelyn gave Dianne some money to help pay for the fall decorations at the entrance of Cypress Meadows. I had recorded a movie for Evelyn, so she watched it while I worked on this blog as I watched TV in the bedroom.
