Boogieing in the afternoon

We led the Bible study for the final time today. We had the same number of people with the addition of Ed and Nona. I called Wesley as to why we had missed each other yesterday and learned he had been in the hospital the entire holiday season. He said he would be there tomorrow. We had lunch here and then dressed for the afternoon. Actually I dressed after taking a half hour nap. We left with Rose and Armand to go to the Mustang Lounge to meet John and Sue. A performer named Ruthie was the entertainment. She wears a lavaliere microphone, sings and walks around the crowd dancing. She is good and draws a nice crowd. The lounge is new and very clean. We shared some nachos for supper and went to the grocery after. We all needed some supplies. We were home by 8 and enjoying being at home for the evening. It is nice to be at an age and location where we can go out for dancing, some drinking and a dinner yet be home early enough to act our age. Winter Texans would rather go out in the afternoon and be home before dark. This area caters to our taste which is one of the reasons we return year after year.
