New golf partners.

I was up early after a somewhat restless night. I rode my bike to the hospital to see a Canadian man who was being treated for some problem with his pacemaker. If the treatment doesn’t work, he and his wife will have to return to Canada for possible surgery. I came to anoint him with oil but had arrived while he was eating breakfast, so I went to visit Tom Kruse. I visited with him a short time and asked to anoint him as well, but he declined. Perhaps he thought I was giving him the last rites or something. I returned and visited with Arnie and he accepted my offer. I returned home and went with the kitchen band to the Weslaco Rehab Center. Evelyn drove and we took 2 others. We were there a bit longer than usual, so I was a bit late for our time to leave to play golf. We loaded Armand’s van and picked up Jack and Jodi to go to Mid Valley to play. They are quite good. I played average until the final hole. Armand beat me and had played the best he has all year. We came home and enjoyed a beer. Evelyn joined us because we were at our house. Rose was too busy cooking to join us. Everyone left around 4, and I came in to eat a bowl of Evelyn’s delicious gumbo. She had added more roux mix, making it thicker. We spent some time watching TV during the evening. We are going to have to play cards instead sometimes. Evelyn’s arm and shoulder is still hurting quite a lot. I don’t know if she will get medical help or not. I am also trying to print a few pictures but can’t. I may have to send them to a drug store or get someone to help me.
