new faucets
Sunday was our first full day with Rosalie. We worshipped with 48 in our little congregation. Everyone was happy to meet her. We came home to enjoy the day. After lunch, she drove the golf cart and Evelyn to the pool for a swim. I got things arranged a bit for the service next week as I usually do on Sunday afternoon. I then happened on to the Cubs spring training game and watched a bit of it. I called my cousin, Don, and tried to make a date for us to come to visit them in Kingsland. They will let us know if they will still be there. I also bought and printed many more $25 coupons to restaurants for $3. Rosalie received several calls from family throughout the day. Evelyn decided to have pizza instead of popcorn for dinner, but we had to interrupt the meal to go to the hall for ice cream. I didn’t mention that John and Sue came to visit and brought Dick Hiebert to change our water faucet in the bathroom. It was beginning to irritate me more than usual that the hot water on our old faucet was so hard to turn completely off. He swapped them out and only charged for the faucets and $5. He was glad I had taken him to a hockey game some weeks ago. We watched the rest of True Grit and then played a few different card games before the news.
