parties galore

We worked all day on getting things packed. We never even took time to walk. We had to take many items to the refrigerator and freezer. I called LuAnn and told her we were planning to attend their party tomorrow night in Franklin. She sounded excited. When the young neighbor came home, he helped me load the curio into the motor home so we can take it to Stacy. She had called this morning and talked with Evelyn for quite a while. She is ready for her party and said that a lawyer from their new church would be in attendance. He has been nominated for a position on the Georgia supreme court. She is very excited. Evelyn also spent much of the day between loads baking for the party. She had some miniature cupcakes left over, so we took what we had left around to the neighbors as a farewell gift. Most of them were appreciative, but one couple seemed put upon. Some people just cant accept kindness. We relaxed during the evening. Evelyn is looking forward to escaping the cold. She suffers when it is cold.
