prescription search
It was up and off to the hall for parking. This time only 4 names were signed up and only three of them came. I had to put on a vest, grab an orange flag and direct parking. The group of shufflers come in, wait for pairings and direction as to where they will play. Our job is to then direct them out of our park. We usually have a policeman at the exit point, but none of them came either. We did get them all out without an accident, although two of us had to block traffic in the main street. I then came home and showered. I went to work in tweaking the sermon. After a heavy lunch we rode to the local pharmacy to learn how much our prescriptions will cost as compared to that we would pay in Mexico. They copied the prescriptions and said they would check the price after our insurance coverage and call us with the prices. I also learned that the Crestor samples Evelyn was given in NC would work for me as a Lipitor substitute. She is trying other cholesterol control medicines and I will take them. I also called to cancel the appointment for tomorrow with the surgeon. I talked to a retired surgeon living here in our park who diagnosed the spot on my arm as keretosis. It is merely a harmless nuisance. We came home and napped a while. We had thought we would go to Harlingen to talk to our renters, but plans had changed. We stopped at Don and Donna Reddel’s for some conversation and fellowship. They work a lot with the Mabel’s Kids program, providing dental and eye care for the kids around the Rio Bravo area. We had a light dinner and then rode over to the Bernie and Red show. It was not quite as funny as I had expected. For one thing, two of the more important jokes were ones I had heard before. Many people loved it though. We saw an elderly lady friend of ours and we were really blessed to see her. We came home and I wrote. I received my copy of Gold and Black from Purdue. I read about the players who stayed for the next season, those who had left early for the NFL draft, and the coaches, some of whom will be different. I personally think the football team is headed back into the tank for some reason. Tiller has lost his magic wand. I don’t think we will miss the games next year.
