A worthwhile meeting

Wednesday Evelyn opened the exercise room and was the only one again. I picked her up and we went off to LaFeria for the AARP meeting. The meeting was worth while, especially the special presentation by a cardiologist who discussed how to stay younger. Evelyn learned something special about when and how to take the Niaspan she takes. She should take it at night with a baby aspirin. It has made her itch quite severly. In fact all cholerterol meds should be taken at bedtime when the body is not digesting food. That made the trip valuable. We also had a lovely lunch and then left. I was also recruited to help a woman with her first class presentation. I am also supposed to go to that park and learn when the park wants the class. We stopped at the outlet mall to get some kitchen items, especially a small heating crock for serving hot dips at parties. We left there and Evelyn went to get her false nails filled in while I went to get our new license sticker. I was done more quickly than I could have ever guessed. I returned to Wal-Mart and bought two night lights. Our old ones just won’t work for some reason. I brought Evelyn home but checked whether either of us had a doctor’s appointment. We didn’t but I will go have blood drawn to check my lipid profile Saturday. I have stopped taking Lipitor and wonder how my cholesterol is doing. We had chicken salad for supper and watched TV the rest of the evening.
