attempt at getting medical help

We were off to the lake late. I had stayed up too long last night and slept too long this morning. We came home, and I watered the plants. Evelyn began washing the wood work in the office/guest room and guest bathroom. She was finished with those before lunch. I had completed some forms and read the e-mail but not showered for the day. I showered and Evelyn started to continue work, but as often I had to insist she rest. She did rest but did finally agree to see the doctor. She called and was told to come over to be worked in. She saw the doctor and agreed to have an ultra sound to check her gall bladder. The excess gas, the stomach pain, the lack of sleep and other things prompted the doctor to recommend the ultrasound. They would have done it this afternoon but she had eaten within 6 hours. We wanted it done tomorrow but the lab was booked up. Therefore, we have to wait until Thursday morning early to have it done. We had supper and were all primed to watch the Cubs play the Braves but the Lord in His mercy sent rain to the Atlanta area. They need it but so do we. We pray we get some tomorrow. We watched the regular Monday programs and the Olympics before going to bed.
