We were up and off to the drug store and then to WW for Evelyn to weigh. She weighed 122--19 pounds under her goal weight. She doesn’t have to pay to go to the meetings if she stays under 141. We decided not eat out and came went to Haywood Christian Ministries to get some earrings that had been lent to the director. We stopped at the Food Lion on the way home and then took some hymnals back to the church. We stopped at the sanitation district and asked that our water be turned off next Thursday. We then mailed a package to the Beelis before coming home. We had lunch and then continued packing. Actually just gathering things into a central location. We won’t pack anything until next Monday or Tuesday. Evelyn worked on making a rhubarb pie for the block party Sunday and brownies to take to the dance tonight. She also made corn bread to take to Roswell tomorrow. After supper we dressed and went to the dance. We danced a great deal and had a good time with our friends the Perrys and Norrises. We stayed until the end of the dance and stopped to get some magnesium that the doctor recommended. We had called the endocrinologist earlier in the day, hoping to learn something about her swallow Wednesday but got only a machine recording. We pray we will get something before we leave.
