Taking a makeup bag to Nashville
We were up and at breakfast by 8. We also went to the housekeeping leader named Jane and got the elusive make up bag we had come back for. Evelyn was so appreciative that she gave the housekeeper $5 for turning it in. She was a Hispanic woman who was very grateful for the tip. We loaded everything and drove off on I-71 to Louisville. We had never traveled that highway before in all our travels. There aren’t many Interstates we can say that about. We turned south on I-65 and drove to Nashville. We were here and checked in by 3. We had road coupons again and found the Fiddlers Inn. We walked to the Opry Mill Mall looking for the golf shop where I had bought a golf bag last year. We learned that the man had not returned to the Mall. I thought he was just going west for the winter but had instead moved there permanently. I ate some of the chicken gumbo for dinner and then took Evelyn to the Scorecard, a sports bar we had a coupon for and had a Quesada for her dinner. We walked around the area until about 8 and went to bed. We are now in the central time zone. We changed our clocks as we drove but will have to change them back Sunday when daylight savings time ends.
