Cruise day 10
The captain had warned of rough seas ahead and we hit them. Despite continuing Meclazine, I felt odd and was afraid to get up and move around. I had slept through the pitch of the ship at noght but was concerned and stayed in bed until noon. I finally showered and went to lunch in the 7 Seas. Evelyn had exercised and was hungry. I ate light and was almost the last one out of the dining room. The seas had calmed considerably and the food helped stabilize me. We went off to the tango class and were late. They were demonstrating a new step that was confusing--back ocho. We worked on that until they stopped a bit early. We saw the people from Ft. Recovery and made plans to meet for lunch tomorrow. We had to rush to our room to change. I had tried to get Tom to wear his tuxedo but he wanted to wait until tomorrow. We met them at 6:30 for wine and went to the comedy show. We sailed through an inside passage similar to that in Alaska. The islands and d fjords are lovely when it is sunny. From the show we went to the observation lounge for an hour of practicing our tango meringa. We don’t seem to get better, especially me. I can’t get off on the right foot--literally. I am too used to starting with the left. We went to dinner and then to Dazzles to listen to the performers and dance. This was a night when those who had entertained in their own show joined together for sharing the stage. We couldn’t agree about whether to dance on the floor or in the back, so we just listened. To bed after midnight.
