Worship and decorations

We had a great worship this morning and saw a couple that has not been in the valley for a few years. We had become good friends and were glad to see each other. We went from there to visit a parishioner who is confined to a nursing home. She is a small, frail woman but did recognize us. We came home and changed clothes. We went back to Mercedes to the church to get some more of the piñatas to use as decorations for our Mexican theme dance next Friday. We got placements too. I also took some of the tablecloths but had to take them back in the afternoon because they had been rented. We asked Joe to come to lunch of an new Weight Watcher recipe. It was pretty good as was the dessert. We visited a while and he gave us his tickets to the concert series performance that has been moved to next Thursday. We will go with the Hamels. We took a long walk around the park, and Evelyn went to an art show at the park next door. We are trying to find a way of showing our trip pictures on our TV screen, so, when I called Atlanta to talk with the grandkids about the snow there, I talked with Tom and think I can find a cable to use for that purpose. I never got to talk with either of the kids. We waited for the couple that chair the dances with us to come and see the decorations we found. We were going to serve them popcorn but ate it all since they didn’t come until after 8. We went to bed thinking of the errands we have to run tomorrow.
