Dessert preparation.

We got up and walked. After that we went to the car wash. It was next to the Speedy Lube and I was able to empty my old oil into their receptacle. After washing the car (and noticing some slight damage from yesterday's little joy ride), we took a package to the post office. It contained the electronic device that Olivia had left. We returned home and worked on making a dessert for tonight's dinner. We ate nonuthin soup for lunch. We continued in the kitchen making a dessert for tomorrow evening's volunteer dinner. We rested during the late afternoon until Don and Betty arrived. We enjoyed boudin and etoufee plus the lemon dessert we had made. They brought their videos of their trip to Alaska this past August. We enjoyed seeing them. They caught many pictures of bear, moose, carribo, and glaciers calving. Before they came, I took a letter of protest to the water department. They charge $100 to reconnect our water in the spring, and I wanted to complain. I may get into a bind with them but que sera, que sera.
