He is Risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!

I had set the alarm last night before going to bed. In the process, I accidently set the clock time ahead one hour. As a result we were up at 4:45 instead of 5:45. We worked until time to go to the local golf course, Tierra Santa, for a sunrise service. It was chilly and mildly windy but very inspirational. We left there at nearly 8 and went to our service at Trail's End. I had expected 2 couples to join us but only 1 came. I am somewhat concerned about the other, fomr our park. I will look for them tomorrow. We had only 23 in attendance but were blessed with Holy Communion and the blessing of remembering the Resurrection. We left there to go to Immanuel in Mercedes to sing in the choir. The service began at 9:30 so Bonny had scheduled the choir anthem toward the end of the service so we could make it. We returned home around 11, changed clothes, finished preparation for the dinner, and went to the hall. The Newcomers made the ham, and everyone else brought their prize dishes to share. Naturally, we were all stuffed when we left. We brought our tableware home and washed it before going to bed for a nap. Evelyn slept later than I did, but we were both exhausted. We were both up around 5 and just "chilled" until 8 when we went for a walk. It had been in the upper 80s this afternoon and humid. It was far cooler when we walked until Evelyn's knee began to hurt. I recorded "Undercover Boss" because I like that show. I also gathered the e-mail and got one from some friends that was so funny I laughed until I cried. I forwarded it to several people. It will be hot tomorrow but I will change the oil in the car at a friend's house who has a pit for that purpose.
