Return of some friends

The weather was better today. I was up at 7 and at the hospital by 8. I subbed for the normal volunteer who had family problems. It was a very slow morning, so I was able to work a bit on my computer. I uploaded a picture. I worked with a woman who was a nurse in Valparaiso, IN for several years but moved to Maggie Valley 6 years ago. I ate lunch at the hospital and came home. Evelyn had done some sewing and had made a cover for her favorite riding back cushion. She had also planted the begonias we had bought at the high school. She ate a light lunch and then went to take a nap as I watched the Cubs play. She was gone for most of the game but couldn’t sleep. She came out and made supper. She coated some chicken breasts with some mixture we had gotten from Swiss Village while her mom was still there. We went to choir practice at 7 and walked around the lake after. We had a message from Phil saying he and Joann wanted to go to dinner and the baseball game in Asheville tomorrow night. We also had a call from Tom and Luann Jones who just returned to Franklin this afternoon. We were concerned about them, but they had just left San Antonio later than they had planned. They will come here to visit with us next Tuesday afternoon when we will go to their favorite dining place in Waynesville: Maggie’s Galley. They love the fish dinners they serve there. We went to bed by 10. I had weighed myself at the hospital and was pleased that I was only 217.6 I hope I can lose a little more over the next few weeks.
