shopping fun
Monday is park meeting day. We learn some of the special events in the coming week and someone usually treats everyone to doughnuts. We never eat any. We did get some exercise first. After the meeting we left to put money into the bank, go to Wal-Mart to get some beer for the visitors in March, go to HEB to get some oyster crackers and peanuts in the shell and to Walgreen to see if they had a special on fish oil. The doctor has recommended that Evelyn take some for her cholesterol. They didn’t have any. We came home so we could have lunch. Evelyn then rested while I continued copying a DVD of some yoga exercises. I could hardly stay awake but had to because I had to change the chapters. She left to have her nails “refreshed” and I lay down to sleep for half an hour or so. I also cut some chicken fajitas to be used for supper. We then took a walk to ask Tom and Diesta to go to dinner with us tomorrow night. They like Pepe’s in Harlingen and we owe them many dinners for all the times he has helped me. We transferred another home movie from VHS to DVD while we ate and then Emily called to make some confirmations on our plans for April. I also made an appointment with my “tax preparer” for next Wednesday morning to figure our federal tax for us. Off to bed to see if I can rest enough to shake this allergy problem I have. I don’t seem to rest much when I sleep.
