farewell dinner
We went to worship and share in the Lord’s Body and Blood. Billy Riggs gave me a 3 wood because he feels sorry for my having to use old clubs. We came home and had lunch before continuing our packing. I was able to load some of the heavier items into the front of the trailer as is recommended. I also try to put the items not needed until we reach the Valley in the front too. We had a carry-in dinner at one of the neighbor’s house. The man is a Cajun and made some delicious gumbo. We came home and just made phone calls trying to arrange visits with friends in Indiana and my cousin in Illinois. I have been tired all day so I went to bed a bit early. Golf tomorrow. We are supposed to have a freeze again tonight so it will be cold on the course. I moved the plants into the shed last night and left them there. We will try to take them to a friend’s house for the winter on Tuesday.
