Hot work outside

While Evelyn exercised, I walked and then drove to George's to change the oil. On the way I recalculated the miles and found that I was not ready for a change. I took George some boudin and bought him a pound of steel cut oatmeal. He was not upset that I cancelled. He is a nice man. I returned home and we did a major cleaning of the car. I had stopped at Carwash, Carwash and learned that the price for cleaning the upholstery was $49.95. Cleaning the carpet was another $49.95. I decided we could do it ourselves. We used Resolve, EZClean, and Simple Green on everything. I used our small vacuum to clean the carpet before scrubing them. We were finished about lunchtime and ate inside. It was nearing 92 and was too hot to eat outside. We cleaned the kitchen and went to bed. We were both tired. We rose and packed our dinner items to take to Schwinghammer's. It turned out that our casserole dish would not fit their microwave oven, so Bob and I came back here and enjoyed a beer while heating it in our oven. We returned and enjoyed the dinner and company. Bob and I planned to play golf tomorrow at 8 before we came home. I watched the Butler/Duke championship game. Bonny called and talked about her new grandson. She is visiting in Dallas where he was born by Ceasarian section. We had also packed some more clothes and put them into the trailer. We are getting close to ready to head east when we return from the cruise.
