Resting up

Tuesday was an attempted recovery day. I tried to find a location to vote in the primary. Texas has an early voting provision. When Evelyn came home, we ate steel cut oatmeal and then lay down for a short nap. I finally left for my voting around 10:30, completed it (I was the only Republican in sight) and went to the welder who made our mounting iron for our Saturn. I have decided to buy a low profile trailer to tow back and forth. This will allow us to have more room in the Saturn. I wanted to see if he could install a hitch. He said he could for around $100. I came home for lunch and another nap. We wakened at 4 and I watched my sports programs before picking up our friends, Tom and Diesta Crouch, to go to Harlingen for dinner at Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant. Tom chose that location over a very high class steak house in McAllen. We enjoyed our dinners and the visit with them. We were home by 8 and wrote the blog. I also went onto the e-bay and Home Depot website looking for a 4’X5’X 4 covered cargo trailer. I found none except a snowmobile trailer. I will continue looking.
