trimming and planting

Monday is the park meeting. I did some additional trimming on the Sega palms around our house. I went to the meeting and then came home after looking for the maintenance guy who picks up the cuttings because I didn’t want him to take the tarp to the trash area. I returned and we both went to Siesta Village to check on the date they want the AARP class. We couldn’t talk with the scheduler but did leave a note. We came home and had a light brunch before going to Wal-Mart to shop for groceries, Home Depot for flowers, a local nursery for tomato plants, and Big Lots to look for some storage shelves. We came home and I worked on the golf cart, adding water to the batteries as Evelyn worked at cleaning the wrought iron railing on the front porch. I then went to Joe and Bonny’s to get more horse manure and dirt for our garden. I noticed that they were home. I came home with the dirt and spread it on the garden. Evelyn then planted two tomato plants, onion sets, Swiss chard, zucchini, red beets, parsley and onion seeds. I will be surprised if we get much because it is late in the season. I also spend a great deal of time reading, responding, and forwarding e-mail. I am also fighting with one of our credit card companies. It is a real struggle to get on the web site to pay our bill. I have applied for another card from another company.
