Choir at church

Evelyn was able to return to exercise while I walked around. A couple approached me to enroll in the Driver Safety Class I will hold April 2. I have just enough books for the 7 signed up. I spent some time yesterday contacting the students about the cost and the time we will meet. Evelyn had been invited to a brunch held for the evening Bible study group, so I just ate my breakfast of cereal and yogurt. I worked on getting the top off the table where I sit my grill. Bob Schwinghammer had given me another top to put on. I also put the mulch around our back yard. Some men are still looking for our water valve without much success. I worked on the message during the afternoon while Evelyn worked on preparing her strawberry dessert for her Mary/Martha group tomorrow night. We had found a bargain on strawberries yesterday. The Lord is good at providing bargains for us. The man who called and promised to look at the golf cart failed to show. I don’t think we will ever sell that thing. I pray the Lord has a different plan. We left for church and choir practice just before 7. We had an “expensive” supper of empanadas that Evelyn made. They were quite good. We went off to Lenten service and stayed to practice with the choir. The windows in the church have been refurbished, and there will be a special praise service this coming Sunday at 10:30. We will go there after our worship at Trail’s End.
