The last day of visit

We were not any earlier but on the routine. Some of the men in the park are still trying to find the external shut off valve. I helped them a bit and then we all left for South Padre Island. We were out there by 11:30 and drove up the strip to look at the construction and shop. We had planned to walk on the beach but it was cool and very windy. Neither of the women wanted to go out there. We just drove and then went to Dirty Al’s for their famous, jumbo shrimp. Doris and Freida bought our lunches. We had agreed for them to take us out once but not twice. I was stopped for speeding on the way to the island but escaped with a warning ticket. I had not seen the 55 sign. We stopped at the Prime Outlet Mall on the way home because Doris wanted to buy a dress. She found nothing acceptable. We returned home, ate some leftovers, and watched Dancing with the Stars before retiring. We have to be at the airport around 7:30 tomorrow morning.
