Some possible good news

We all went to worship and were surprised that 32 people came. Many of the residents have gone home but those still here came out in force. We went from there to Immanuel in Mercedes for a special service rededicating the stain glass windows that had been covered on the outside for protection from future hurricanes. We had missed the fact that the service had been changed from 10:30 to 10 so we were late, missing the first number the choir sang. We joined in on the others. We all went to the celebration dinner after and enjoyed the catered beef meal. We came home and relaxed in the afternoon, watching the college basketball games. Our visitors are UNC fans. At 5:30 I went to the hall to help serve ice cream. The ladies followed at 6. The object was to empty the ice cream containers for the summer. We did a good job. We all came home and the visitors ate ham sandwiches. We also had popcorn while we went through the first half of our South America trip. I was blessed to learn that Air Tran may have a flight to Asheville beginning in June. This will remove a burden from Stacy who is not crazy about driving to our house 2 times while Emily and her girls visit in July. I will pray that the contract is signed between Air Tran and the Asheville airport. We are planning a trip to South Padre Island with our visitors tomorrow for their final day of visiting with us.
