Quiet Day
Thursday began with a surprise. I received an invitation to an AARP driver safety meeting. I didn’t think I would learn anything, but the area coordinator thought I should go. We went to Harlingen and met from 10 until 2. I did learn some things but the meeting was not for our group. We always have a nice lunch, half of which I took home to Evelyn. We came back and I went to get the mail. I was tired and planned to take a nap but never got around to it. I can’t remember what I did. We had lunch and watched the Purdue women play basketball. Evelyn had said she wanted to go to a dance but never really got ready to go. We sent an e-mail to my friend who is planning our Panama Canal cruise in April. We realize that the entire trip will likely take more than a month by the time we return to New Orleans. We also watched Anger Management starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. We also tried to organize our Christmas card list.
